The robotic arm is a product of efficiency in the machine age. It is always working, it never stops and it does not waste time.  The artist designed the robotic arm to do some boring and meaningless movements. In the post-industrial era, not only is production standardised, but people's clothing, housing, living and entertainment also tend to be standardised. So the artist wanted to give the Robotic Arm a sense of helplessness. The combination of a precise object and a lazy mood might make the robotic arm look like it has lost its reason. This is the artist's reflection on human nature in the age of machines.
